HealthHIV Advocacy : HealthHIV Executive Director Testifies Before FDA Panel

On May 15th, HealthHIV Executive Director Brian Hujdich testified before an advisory panel to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to recommend approval of OraSure Technologies Inc.'s at-home HIV test. In oral testimony Hujdich urged the panel to approve the OraQuick In-Home HIV test for market. The expert panel approved the In-Home HIV test unanimously. The OraQuick test must next be approved by FDA regulators. If approved the test kit, which would sell for less than $60, will be available in drug stores and other retailers. Click here....
