Remaining Relevant in the New Reality
A fundamental shift is transforming the public health system, including implementation of the National HIV/AIDS Strategy for the United States, Ending the HIV Epidemic in the United States (EHE) initiative, HIV Care Continuum, and the CDC’s High-Impact Prevention (HIP) approach, redirection of HIV funding, biomedical advances, and medicalization of HIV services — all stressing the vital ASO/CBO infrastructure. In order to maintain and enhance the viability of ASO/CBOs to remain relevant in this dynamic environment, HealthHIV has launched a first-of-its-kind program, HealthHIV ASO/CBO Leadership Training™ to provide training to ASO/CBO leadership and emerging leaders.

Featuring five (5) adaptable, one-hour courses, the program is designed for AIDS Service Organization (ASO) and Community-Based Organization (CBO) CEOs, Executive Directors, Program Directors, Executive-level Managers, Boards of Directors, and other individuals in leadership, emerging leadership, and/or decision-making roles.

    This module will equip you with the concepts, frameworks, and tools to help you develop a basic understanding of how to recruit and hire so you can unleash greater potential as an organization.

  • Influencing Performance: Through Coaching and Mentoring
    This module will equip you with the concepts, frameworks, and tools to help you develop a basic understanding of how to develop your staff members through coaching and mentoring so you can optimize performance and unleash greater potential as an organization.

  • Effective Leadership for a Winning Culture
    This model will discuss the core characteristics, core practices, and emergent qualities that enable us to exercise inspiring leadership in our organizations and lives. Throughout this module, we will consider the kind of leadership that allows you to pioneer beyond the popular “high-performance” culture, toward one of performance optimization, meaningful impacts, and extraordinary fulfillment.

  • Performance Management
    This module will equip you with the concepts, frameworks, and tools to help you develop a basic understanding of how to manage performance so you can optimize performance and unleash greater potential as an organization.

  • Succession Planning: Knowledge Transfer for Long-Term Success
    This module will equip you with the concepts, frameworks, and tools to help you develop a basic understanding of how to practice effective success planning and knowledge transfer so you can enjoy long-term success.
